Don’t Turn Around by Rocky Rochford
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Don’t Turn Around wastes no time in its brutal but real depiction of a serial killer and his thought process. Think American Psycho but a lot more pithy and straight forward. Rocky Rochford brilliantly gets inside the head of a merciless murderer by using the present tense and first-person POV, bringing the psychology home to the reader. It’s intense in its honesty and shows that Rochford knows his stuff. This struck me as dead on based on even the minimal amount of reading I’ve done on the minds of people like this. Don’t miss this book, and whatever you do, don’t turn around.

Wow this sounds outstanding! I’m looking forward to reading it…on a bright sunny summer day. 😉 And by the way Christie, I like your pun “This struck me as ‘dead on'” – even if you didn’t intend it to be punny! 🙂

In bright light, good idea, Daisy! The end was freaky too, so plenty of light is needed. 🙂 I hope you enjoy it! Also I’m glad you enjoyed my pun!
