Belmar BookCon Year 2

Another successful year at Belmar BookCon! This was their second year, and it was my second year going. I will definitely go again and again. I’m sure someday it will end up being so huge that readers will overcrowd it – the authors deserve that. But for now, I’m lucky enough to be able to talk to each author and small press for a little while to get to know them and their work. It’s amazing to see the diversity of titles delivered through each stall’s books. I bought so many different genres!

Want to see my experiences at Belmar BookCon – literally? Watch my short interviews with authors and small press publishers in this playlist of my vlogs. You might find your next read, or an independent press that will publish you!

Stay tuned for a chance to win THE MEMORY BOX by Eva Lesko Natiello, personalized to you by the author! You’ll also see more about these books in the future, most likely starting next year.

What book conferences have you gone to? What was your experience?

First Writer’s Vlog!

I’ve always liked the idea of vlogs and I enjoy watching them, even if they have nothing to do with writing. It’s great that we have another medium through which to communicate and share our experiences, ideas, and lives. It feels to me like a relaxed chat that you have the option of taking part in when you feel like it. With that in mind, I’ve made my first vlog and posted it today. It has some writing, some TV series obsession, and some frustration with old technology. I hope you like it!
