This month, I had an article published in TopShelf Magazine. I wrote all about moral gray areas in my suspense novels and short stories, plus how those gray areas make villains more relatable. If you know my work and you know me, you also know that villains pretty much load up my novels! No one is even close to squeaky clean, and more than one character can be considered a villain, although that definition in itself is a bit of a gray area sometimes.
A sneak peek into my article: “Villains can be readers’ favorite characters and the most relatable ones. Most of the time they’ve been through hell, and a lot of the time, they never really came back.”
