The Sharper Your Knife, the Less You Cry: Love, Laughter, and Tears at the World's Most Famous Cooking School
The Sharper Your Knife, the Less You Cry: Love, Laughter, and Tears at the World’s Most Famous Cooking School by Kathleen Flinn
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I liked this book but didn’t love it. I thought it was very enjoyable and a quick read. The bits of Kat’s life that she shares were interesting and at times fun, but I didn’t feel like I was really in it; I didn’t feel involved. The parts about cooking at Le Cordon Bleu could be interesting too, but still a bit distant and sterile some of the time. Some of the history parts were like reading a bland history book, which I didn’t like at all. The recipes sound great and the techniques used in such a famous cooking school were awesome to hear about. This was enjoyable as a one-time read.
