Was I the only one who was highly impressed with the abstract sequences going on during the credits in the beginning of Skyfall? I found myself drawn in and inspired by what I saw, and I felt like it was a very valid form of art. Did anyone else feel the same way?

I liked the title sequence a lot, too- there’s even a bit of foreshadowing if you know where to look. People don’t like to have long title sequences up front much any more, which is a shame. I hear the movie “The Kingdom” isn’t very good, but it has a cool title sequence, too: http://www.artofthetitle.com/title/the-kingdom/
(We’ll ignore the fact that it tries to cram 80-odd years of Saudi Arabian history into about four minutes… who needs details? :P)

I’ll definitely check this video out. I agree with you on the title sequences – did you ever see the original Pink Panther movies? They had great title sequences that are so much fun to watch 🙂
