I consider New Year’s Day the day to recover from the year before and start the new year on a high and happy note. What will I be doing January 1?

  1. There will be coffee. I’m talking strong Starbucks venti black coffee.
  2. There will be chocolate. I’m talking no restrictions on the intake amount.
  3. There will be writing.ย Locke and Keye has passed the 10,000 word mark, which is more than half the length of a novelette. And that’s mostlyย one character’s storyline, maybe not even the whole of his storyline. I’m beyond pumped about this bookย to the point that I can’t stop thinking about it, which is both wonderful when it’s flowing and torturous when I’m trying to figure out a plot point. I’m going to focus onย at least one other character’s storyline on New Year’s Day. I’ll have my Pinterest page up, the above-mentioned necessities at hand, and a whole day of nothing to do but write!

  4. There will be Honeymooners! I always watch the 1950s TV series The Honeymooners all day either on TV if a channel is having a marathon or on DVD. I have the classic 39 episodes and all the other ones too.

What will you be doing New Year’s Day? Hope you have a good one!
