Another week packed with wonderful news and awesome interviews! I’m thrilled to share so many things with you!
On Thursday, January 17 at 9 p.m. Eastern, I’ll be on a live discussion panel for Go Indie Now, chatting about publishing industry articles and topics. Come join us, ask questions, share your opinions!
I told you I’d let you know when my interview on The Book Tavern went live, and viola! Here it is! I loved this interview—I answered what the tipping point was for leaving my full-time job to work for myself, why I opened my editing business, what’s coming from me publication-wise in 2019, and more. Have a read!
For my next interview, I’ll be on Get Published Podcast, which will be pre-recorded today and then released later. I’ll let you know when it’s up, and I think you’ll like it because I’ll be coming up with unique answers to these questions. No hints as to what’s included though! 😉
I was featured on Authors on the Air, interviewed by the fabulous boss lady, Pam Stack, and what a great interview it was! She asked me questions no one else ever has, including what I look for in a query letter as an acquisitions editor, how much of a manuscript I read before I make a decision as well as what I’m looking for, what I like about interviewing authors, and a ton more.
My latest interview for Creative Edge Writer’s Showcase is live, and this one was with Amelia Lionheart. She’s a very kind-hearted, knowledgeable children’s and YA author whose books revolve around environmentalism, conservationism, and diversity. She’s sending me some of her books and I’m sending her mine; I’ll be sure to share a pic with you when hers come in!
By the way, Creative Edge Writer’s Showcase is becoming available in more and more places! Currently you can find episodes on SoundCloud, iTunes, Podbean, Anchor, and even more, I’m sure.
That’s it for now! I’ll have lots more soon.
